Love the Weekends!! (except when my baby gets SICK!)

This past weekend was such a wonderful weekend....except for the fact that Cooper started getting sick. He is almost 6 1/2 months old and luckily, he had never been sick yet...but he started "school" 2 days a week last week, and I think being in an environment with other babies and just everyday germs, it got him! Poor thing...he has a bad cough and cold...and I took him to the Doctor yesterday to be checked, and he has an EAR INFECTION too!! But we got amoxicillin (YUM- the pink bubble gum meds from when we were little!!) and that should help his ear...there is nothing you can give a baby under 2 for a cough- which is so hard...it breaks my heart to watch him cough and cough...
We gave him a bath with soothing vapor in it last night to help with his cold and cough- here are a few pics :) It was like a bubble bath- he loved it!

So here's a re-cap on the weekend... (before Cooper really got sick)

Friday:

 Amy and the girls came over and we played and ordered pizza...it was the night Cooper started not feeling himself though- so he wasn't his normal fun, happy self. But we did manage to get a few pics of the girls with Cooper...they are so sweet- they love Cooper so much- they were fighting over who got to "hold" Cooper 1st- then I had to break it to them that he is getting bigger and he doesn't really like to be "held" anymore...he likes to play!

Saturday:

Cooper and I met Noni at the mall....we had such a fun time! We walked around the mall a few times 1st for some exercise...then we got a bagel and a coffee...then we shopped! We had such fun in Baby Gap, Gymboree and Children's Place! They really have the most darling things for little boys!! Noni got Cooper the cutest fall clothes....thank you, Noni! We can't wait to wear them.....just gotta wait for the cool weather!! :)

Then we went home and Cooper took a really good, long nap...then Tawnya, James and Maddie and Leslie and Weston came over for a BBQ!! It was a great time...
Tawnya, Leslie and I all went to ASU together...so it was like a little reunion! And getting our families together was so nice- now that we are all "grown up!" We had such a wonderful time together- and we even got out old photo albums and went down memory lane- wow did we have some GOOD TIMES!!!! Great memories with these girls! Love them!

Sunday:

 
Sunday is normally our family day- since James is off, so we have a day "the 3 of us!"
We went to Islands for lunch then to Target and Ross....
Then later after dinner, we went out for yogurt at a new place called Yogurtini- it was yummy!!
 
**Sunday night was when Cooper's runny nose (that we thought was from teething) really turned into a cold- and his cough took over!! He was miserable!! Poor little guy....
